Saratoga County is seeking proposals for vending machine services in various county buildings. Proposals are due by June 18, 2026, at 5:00 PM. The contract period is from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, with options for three one-year extensions. Bidders should include options for monthly commissions to the county and/or lower-priced products with no commission. Debit card access is desired. Insurance and disclosure statements are required with the proposal. Awards will be made to the lowest responsible bidder or based on best value.
Proposals must be received by 5:00 PM on Thursday, June 18, 2026.
Payment will be made after the receipt of a proper invoice from the successful bidder.
The successful bidder guarantees products against defective material or workmanship for at least one year from the date of delivery, agreeing to repair or replace any damages or marring occasioned in transit or faults that develop during the guarantee period.
Awards will be made to the lowest responsible bidder unless best value methodology is indicated, considering reliability, quality, conformity with specifications, purpose, and delivery terms.
Proposals must be from qualified vendors. Bidders must provide a signed statement of required disclosures, representations, and certifications.
If the successful bidder fails to deliver as ordered or within the specified time, the county may purchase from other sources at the successful bidder's expense.
A formal protest concerning a pending contract award must be received within five business days after the protesting party knows or should have known of the facts that form the basis of the protest.
Failure to disclose accurate and complete information as required by sections 139j and 139k could result in a determination of nonresponsibility, leading to rejection of the proposal or termination of any awarded contract.
