This acquisition is for scanning services for the IRS, conducted under the authority of the multiple award schedule program. The need is urgent due to the agency's need to be prepared for the September 30, 2025 deadline for processing electronic payments, and the need to be prepared for the 2026 tax filing season. The IRS has conducted market research, including a pilot program, and determined that Iron Mountain is the only vendor capable of meeting the required quality levels. This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for computer facilities management services. The contract is a firm fixed price type. Offers are due Friday, September 19, 2025, at 10:00 AM PDT.
