The City of Mobile is seeking qualifications from engineering and design firms for the McNally Park Marine Improvements Project. The project involves designing and updating marine elements to improve functionality, resiliency, accessibility, and public use. Services include planning, stakeholder engagement, design, and preparation of documents, with potential for construction phase services. A mandatory QA meeting and site visit are scheduled for July 16, 2026. Proposals are due by 12:00 PM CST on August 7, 2026. The selection process includes evaluation of experience, approach, and team qualifications.
Responses will be received until 12:00 p. m. CST on August 7, 2026.
Submittals will be reviewed and considered in categories including cover letter, conceptual approach/methodology, experience and background, and project team level of participation. The contract will be awarded to the responsible firm whose proposal is deemed most advantageous to the City of Mobile.
Firms interested in performing the work will be considered based on a written response to this request for qualifications, including statement of registration, names and duties of individuals involved, qualifications of individuals, professional standing, experience in similar projects, experience within the local jurisdiction, community engagement experience, staff availability, list of qualified personnel, fiscal basis, and work location.

Firms must not be on the federal list of debarred, suspended, or voluntarily excluded contractors and must not be in default on any obligations due to the State of Alabama. Failure to comply with nondiscrimination clauses may result in contract cancellation, termination, or suspension.
