Lot 2: Perform Tree Removal on those trees ( 0- 4 inches in diameter) that have been designated and marked for cutting and removal by the Chief District Engineer or their representative. Cut all trees to within three ( 3) inches of the ground line. Remove the trees and all the debris from the site and dispose of the trees and the debris off of the rights- of- ways. Keep the premises free from the accumulation of waste material and debris at all times. At the completion of the work, remove all debris and waste material from the site and dispose of the debris and waste material off of the rights- of- ways. Perform Stump Treatment as incidental to this item of work. Application of herbicide stump treatment shall be made within one hour upon cutting of tree. The size of the trees will be determined by the average diameter of the tree trunk taken at a point measured two ( 2) feet above the base of the tree at the ground line. The diameter will be measured to the nearest full inch. Trees will be measured prior to any cutting and removal. The Vendor ( Contractor) will be shown the trees to be cut prior to any work being performed.
