The Pickens County School District (PCSD) is seeking proposals for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services for renovations and modifications at Harmony Elementary School. PCSD standard terms for payment will be net 30 days from the date of delivery of goods or services, or date of receipt of correct invoice, whichever is later. PCSD does not pay interest, late fees or attorneys fees.
The selection criteria will be based on construction experience (20 points), fees and intangibles (20 points), personnel for project (20 points), project approach (25 points), references (10 points), and firm history information (5 points).
To qualify for consideration, a firm must be prepared to provide expertise, resources, and personnel experience in project planning, cost management, project control, preconstruction and construction techniques, value engineering analysis, scheduling, and quality assurance. Minimum qualifications include a current, valid Georgia business license, submission of the completed Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act document upon award, and evidence of a current liability policy and Georgia State Contractors License.
If the contractor fails to perform services in accordance with contract specifications and fails to respond telephonically within three hours of notification of unsatisfactory work to correct the problem, PCSD reserves the right to claim reimbursement or damages as liquidated damages.
