This is a public tender notice from the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation for a 2026 Stand Exam Contract. The project involves conducting measurements and estimates of timber and vegetation parameters on approximately 1,930 plots across an estimated 12,785 acres on the Colville Reservation. Bids are due by May 4th, 2026. The contract requires a minimum of 5 experienced cruisers and includes seven project areas in remote locations. To bid, contractors must fill out Exhibit B, provide a bid price for each item, a resume and work plan, proof of SAM. gov registry, and proof of liability insurance. The consultant warrants that its employees, subcontractors, and anyone associated with it who will be involved in the performance of this contract has the educational credentials, expertise, and training required to accomplish the purposes of this contract.
The final determination will be dependent on the availability of funding and bid prices.
The following qualifications are required for all personnel bidding on or engaging in the collection of data under this contract: Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry or closely related field and at least one season of experience in field data collection of variable and fixed plot timber data; OR Associate of Science degree in Forestry or closely related field and at least two seasons of experience in field collection of variable and fixed plot timber data; OR at least 4 seasons experience in field data collection of variable and fixed plot timber data.
If more than one tree is missed on the variable plots throughout a stand, the result will be immediate failure and will be returned to the contractor to rework at their own cost, no exceptions.
