Putnam County is soliciting bids for custom apparel, uniforms, outerwear, and accessories. Bids are due August 12, 2026, at 1:00 PM. The contract will be awarded based on best value. Orders consisting of readily available stock garments utilizing existing artwork should normally be completed within ten 10 business days for orders of twentyfive 25 garments or fewer and within fifteen 15 business days for larger quantities up to one hundred 100 garments. Orders requiring new artwork preparation or embroidery digitizing should generally be completed within fifteen 15 business days following approval of artwork. Large production orders exceeding one hundred 100 garments should generally be completed within twenty 20 business days. The contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder whose bid is determined to provide the best value to the county, based on an evaluation of cost (35 points), product selection/availability (20 points), production capability (20 points), experience/references (10 points), delivery/order fulfillment (10 points), and value-added services (5 points). Awards may be made to the highest scoring bidders resulting from the evaluation procedure described above.
