Sealed bids will be received by the Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) Southmost Regional
Water Authority (SRWA) until 5:00 PM on June 4, 2025. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud on June 5, 2025, at 11:30 AM. Detailed specifications are available at www. ***. *. * must submit two sets of bid documents sealed in an envelope. Questions concerning terms, conditions, and technical specifications should be directed to Nicole Espinoza or Diane Solitaire. The deadline for questions is May 23, 2025. The successful vendor agrees to send a personal representative with binding authority to the BPUB and SRWA upon request. All items must be new, in first-class condition. The BPUB and SRWA are exempt from federal excise tax, state tax, and local taxes. Failure to sign the bid will disqualify it. The product shall be delivered FOB to the specified locations. A contract for the product will be placed into effect by means of a purchase order issued by the BPUBSRWA after tabulation and final approval by the board. The contract for each chemical shall be for a period of one year after the date of the purchase order, with the option to renew annually for an additional two one-year periods, if service and price are satisfactory. The BPUBSRWA reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities contained therein. Additional documents required include: acknowledgement form, special instructions, cost sheet, specifications, insurance requirements, forms checklist, ethics statement, certification regarding debarment, suspension, and other responsibility matters, form conflict of interest questionnaire, certificate of interested parties form, residence certification, state law verifications, house bill 89 verification, previous customer reference worksheet, W9 form, W8BEN form. NSF certification letter, municipal references, evidence of adequate liability insurance, other insurances, permits, and authorizations are also required.
