The Department of War, United States Air Force (USAF), through the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC), is seeking capabilities statements from potential sources for the production phase of the Long Range Standoff (LRSO) weapon system. This includes multiple production lots and sustainment efforts covering operational safety, suitability, and effectiveness. The weapon system encompasses hardware, software, telemetry instrumentation kits, trainers, simulators, technical data, obsolescence management, upgrades, production implementation, preplanned product improvement, sustainment, aircraft integration, non-warranty repair, containers, and related items. Associated support includes replacement parts, program management, engineering, logistics, test support, software/hardware upgrades, data, and any other supplies or services needed to sustain the program over its life. Repair infrastructure, including program management, replacement parts, special tooling maintenance, business management, hardware demilitarization/disposal, and administrative support, is also required. Sustainment requirements anticipate the capability to repair non-warranted missiles and other support items. Respondents must submit a capabilities statement demonstrating their ability to provide these missiles, associated support, and sustainment in increased quantities.
