Broome County is seeking full service maintenance for its facility management system, including as-needed variable frequency drives and HVAC equipment technician services. Payment will be made net 30 from receipt of invoice, or the seller's invoice, whichever is more favorable to Broome County.
Bidders must include their complete warranty, including limits of liability.
Award shall be made to the lowest priced, qualified, responsible bidder whose proposal complies with all provisions.
Contractors must have 20 years of experience in mechanical and control maintenance, employ factory-trained personnel, and have a minimum of four licensed technicians with Tridium N4 certifications and five years of experience with Tridium BMS.
If the contractor fails to deliver within the specified time or make immediate replacement of rejected items, Broome County may purchase from other sources and the bidder agrees to reimburse the county for excess costs.
A scheduled walk-through will be set for July 20, 2026, at 8:30 AM at the HVAC office on Exchange Street. Bidders shall make a thorough examination of the facilities.
Requests for interpretation should be addressed no later than five working days prior to the bid opening date.
Failure to follow safety standards, such as OSHA requirements for forklift operation, shall be a material breach of contract. Non-compliance with Iranian energy sector divestment laws may also lead to disqualification.
