SUNY Schenectady is seeking proposals for fixed-price electricity supply services for 3-year and 5-year terms. Proposals are due July 23, 2026. Pricing must be firm, fixed, and all-inclusive per kWh. The contract award will be based on best value, considering price, experience, qualifications, financial stability, and responsiveness. A pre-proposal conference will be held on June 30, 2026. Questions are due July 7, 2026.
Proposals must be received by 2:00 PM ET on July 23, 2026.
Pricing shall be firm, fixed, and all-inclusive on a $/kWh basis for each 3-year and 5-year term. All pricing provided under this agreement shall be firm, fixed, and allinclusive on a kwh basis. No additional fees, surcharges, riders, passthrough costs, or adjustments of any kind shall be permitted after contract execution. . .
Successful bidder warrants and represents that it possesses such expertise, experience and resources to perform the scope of services required in a diligent, timely and professional manner consistent with the standards of the industry.
The college will award based on best value and is not obligated to select the lowest cost proposal. The evaluation is based on price, experience, qualifications, financial stability, and responsiveness.
Proposers must demonstrate that it possesses the necessary licenses, certifications, and organizational capabilities to provide electricity supply services in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Failure to provide required documents by the due date, failure to meet mandatory requirements, including pricing format and licensing, or proposals containing false or misleading statements may result in disqualification.
