Concord University is soliciting bids for the removal, disposal, and replacement of floor tiles on the first floor of Science Hall. Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting on April 16, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Carter Center. Questions must be submitted in writing by 2:00 PM on April 22, 2025. Proposals are due by 2:00 PM on June 16, 2025. The state will not be held liable for any expenses incurred by bidders. A single contract is anticipated. Award is contingent upon funding. Proposals shall remain in effect for 90 days from the submission date. All bids must be submitted electronically or mailed/hand-delivered to the address provided. Additional documents, such as a bid bond, performance bond, labor/material payment bond, and maintenance bond, are required. Insurance requirements are also detailed. The lowest qualified bidder will be awarded the contract. The entire response to the RFP and the resulting contract are public documents.

Sealed bids are invited for renovations to the Roland P. Sharp Alumni Conference Center. Bidding documents are available online (for prime contractors only) or in hard copy (with cost). A prebid conference is mandatory for prime contract bidders on June 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM local time. Bids must be submitted by 3:00 PM local time on July 1, 2025, at the WVSOM testing center, executive conference room TC102. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond of 5% of the base bid. Bidders must be registered with the West Virginia Department of Tax and Revenue and licensed to perform work in West Virginia. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to withhold final award for 30 days after opening bids. The successful bidder must submit a performance bond and payment bond within 10 days of the award.

Sealed bids must be received by 3:00 PM, local prevailing time, on July 2, 2025, at the address provided. The successful bidder will receive a notice to proceed from the owner, and the project must be substantially complete within the number of days inserted on the form of proposal, with final completion within 30 days thereafter. Liquidated damages apply for delays in achieving substantial and final completion. Allowances may be made for delays due to shortages of materials and/or energy resources, subject to proof by documentation, and for delays due to strikes or other delays beyond the control of the contractor. The contractor must properly document all delays and any claim for extension of the contract time. Bids delivered by UPS and FedEx should be delivered to the mailroom. Hand-delivered bids are preferred. Sealed bids are requested for the Pioneer Way Improvements Handrails, Lights Project. Bids are due by 1:30 PM on Thursday, May 29th, 2025. Bid documents are available for purchase from the architect for $50 per set. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, May 15th, 2025, at 1:30 PM at the project site. Sealed bids are requested for the partial demolition of Louis Bennett Hall. Bidding documents are available electronically from May 8th, 2025, from McKinley Architecture and Engineering, upon payment of a non-refundable document access fee of **** mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on May 13th, 2025, at 9:00 AM local prevailing time in the CTE room on the 4th floor of Louis Bennett Hall. Sealed bids must be received by 1:00 PM local prevailing time on Tuesday, May 27th, 2025. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Successful bidder must register with the state of WV oasis system and provide a satisfactory bid bond equal to 5% of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory 100 performance and labor and material payment bond in the amount of the contract price. Bidders must comply with all requirements as set forth in the bidding documents. All bidders and subbidders must utilize local labor pursuant to chapter 21 article 1c, the West Virginia Jobs Act. Bids from bidders debarred by the state of WV or federal government are not permitted. All contractors doing business in West Virginia must be licensed. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
