invitation to bid documents. The estimated total value of the bid is unknown due to post-COVID-19 price escalations and current national trade conflicts. Delivery is required to various designated locations within ten (10) operating days of request. Delivery hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Invoices must include the purchase order, delivery date, quantity, unit price, and delivery point. Payment will be made based on receipt of material or properly executed invoice, whichever is later. The Orleans Parish School Board is exempt from all federal, state, and local taxes. The contract is for one year with an option to renew for two additional one-year periods. The contract is a commitment of the OPSB's current revenue only. The board retains the right to terminate the contract at the expiration of each budget period. Vendors must comply with the Buy American provision for contracts involving the purchase of food. Insurance requirements are detailed in the notice. The bidder shall indemnify and hold harmless the OPSB, its board members, officers, staff, directors, etc. for any and all losses, damages, and liabilities whatsoever for injury to or death of persons, or loss of or damage to property, including government property of any kind or nature caused by or arising out of the performance of the work or services required hereunder by the contractor or the officers, employees, or agents of the contractor.
