Soil Hauling, Disposal & Mobilization of Contaminated Soil - The work under this proposal " 2025 SOIL HAULING, DISPOSAL, & MOBILIZATION OF CONTAMINATED SOIL" consists of loading petroleum, metals, solvent, and solid waste- contaminated soil and trucking to a WDNR- approved bioremediation and landfill facility, including the GFL Hickory Meadows Landfill, LLC Site in Hilbert, Wisconsin, Waste Management Ridgeview Security Landfill in Whitelaw, Wisconsin, Outagamie County Landfill or Brown County South Landfil
The City of Green Bay Department of Public Works is soliciting bids for hauling, disposal, and mobilization of contaminated soil. Bids are due August 5, 2025, at 2:00 PM CDT. Vendors must read the entire Request for Bids (RFB) document and follow instructions. Bids can be mailed, hand-delivered, emailed, or uploaded to the city's e-bidding platform (DemandStar). Faxed bids will not be considered. The RFB includes important dates, submittal instructions, format requirements, labeling guidelines, delivery instructions, standard terms and conditions, a sample contract, information about multiple bids, contact information, inquiries, clarifications, addenda, bid distribution networks, oral presentations/site visits, acceptance/rejection of bids, withdrawal/revision of bids, subcontracting/third-party payments, non-restrictive specifications, non-material/material variances, public records, contract quantities, usage reports, partial award, contract term negotiation, cooperative purchasing, tax exemption, and appeals process. Vendor requirements include being an original manufacturer, distributor, or dealer authorized by the manufacturer with service and repair capabilities, being in the business of hauling/disposal for the past five years, and supplying references of three firms. Insurance requirements are detailed in Appendix A. The contract term is for the 2025 season, anticipated to begin in the fall of 2025. The city may require bidders to participate in negotiations and submit revisions to their bids. The city reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
