Sealed bids will be received until 11:00 a. m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at the Ionia County Road Department. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, individually, and must specify Contract **** or emailed bids will not be accepted. Bidders must meet insurance requirements, including liability insurance, workers compensation, and bodily injury/property damage coverage. Proposals are due no later than 5:00 PM on July 18, 2025. Proposals received after this date will not be considered. The proposal must include the signature of a duly authorized officer or agent of the company submitting the proposal. The price quoted should be inclusive; if not, a detailed list of excluded fees must be provided. If subcontractors are required, they must be identified and their work defined. The proposal must include the name, address, and certifications of the subcontractor. Contract terms will be negotiated upon selection. All contracts are subject to approval by the Community Correction Alternatives and the Ionia County Commissioners. Programming will begin October 1, 2025. The budget must encompass all programs, classes, and meeting hours. Payments are contingent upon the availability of funds from the State of Michigan, Department of Community Alternatives. The proposal must list credentials, titles, certifications, licenses, qualifications, screening tools, treatment tools and philosophies employed by practitioners, how treatment will be delivered to Hispanic and other minority populations, how the entity will address COVID or other health restrictions, and how the proposing entity intends to maximize funding from numerous public sources. The proposal should also include any other means by which the entity can provide services to the court in areas collateral to community corrections, e. g. , conventional probation.

Ionia County invites organizations to apply for funding to support opioid prevention, harm reduction, treatment, and recovery programs. Proposals are due May 30, 2025. The number of awards depends on available funds, which vary annually. Funding will be allocated to support programs addressing local priority needs in education, treatment, and recovery, and address gaps in county services. Organizations must utilize funds within the associated calendar year as supplemental funding, not replacing existing funding, and ensure all funds are used in alignment with exhibit e and the definition of opioid remediation. Indirect costs cannot exceed 15% of awarded funds. Organizations are required to provide biannual progress reports and an annual report at project close. Proposals will be scored based on evidence-based strategy, feasibility, evaluation, suitability, equity, reach, and additional items. Notice of award is expected by June 30, 2025.
