Sealed bids are being accepted for
water treatment services for hot and chill
water systems at multiple health centers. The deadline for submission is Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 10:00 AM CST. Bidders must download the complete solicitation, including specifications and bid forms, from the website or by visiting the purchasing office. A mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 10:00 AM CST. Bidders must submit a notarized state of Alabama disclosure form, addendum to bid agreement contract, a copy of their Everify certificate, a W9 form, business license, and other documents. A bid bond or certified check is required for bids exceeding $10,000. No bids may be withdrawn for 60 days after the opening date. The successful bidder will be the only contractor, and bids from vendors that subcontract their work will not be accepted. The contract term is from June 17, 2025, to June 16, 2028. The total bid price, including all line-item prices, must remain firm for the entire duration of the bid period. Invoices must be itemized and billed after completion. The bidder must provide a minimum of three references. The successful bidder must have the appropriate license, certificates, and personnel required to test and treat mechanical hot and chill
water loops systems. The Jefferson County Department of Health is exempt from all taxes. Bidders must comply with all applicable Alabama laws and regulations, including those related to sales tax and immigration law. The bidder must provide evidence of their participation in the federal Everify program. A certificate of insurance is required. The bidder must be fully aware of the conditions of service and purpose for which items are to be purchased.
