Travis County Healthcare District (Central Health) is seeking a comprehensive hospital indemnity benefit solution. Central Health shall pay all invoices within thirty 30 days following receipt in accordance with the prompt payment act, chapter **** of the Texas Government Code.
Proposals will be evaluated based on account management, customer service and support, claims administration, utilization and reporting capabilities, implementation plan, fee structure, and underwriting and renewal process. A demo/interview may also be considered.
Proposers must be responsible and submit responsive proposals, demonstrating competence, qualifications, financial resources, and adequate facilities, personnel, reputation, and experience.
Failure to respond timely to requests may be grounds for invalidating a bid or canceling an awarded contract.
Protest of contract award must be submitted in writing within ten 10 calendar days after Central Health notifies proposers of a contract award.
Contacting individual Central Health board members, executive team leaders, or staff regarding the solicitation may result in disqualification. Failure to meet security requirements may also be grounds for immediate disqualification.
