The Office of State Procurement is seeking bids for
laundry and linen services for the Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs for an initial 12-month period, renewable for two additional 12-month periods. Bidders must be registered in the lagov system. All bids must be submitted online via the provided link. The bid opening is scheduled for June 17, 2025, at 9:45 AM Central Time. A W9 form is required if the vendor is newly registered. All attachments must be printed and reviewed. The contract will begin on July 1, 2025, or the date of award, whichever is later, and end on June 30, 2026. The total contract time will not exceed 36 months. The state intends to award the contract to the overall lowest responsive, responsible bidder meeting the specifications. The state reserves the right to reject individual line items from the award. Bidders must specify the brand and model number of the product offered. Bidders proposing an equivalent brand or model should submit descriptive information. All bids must include transportation prepaid to destination and be firm for acceptance for a minimum of 30 days. Vendors are responsible for including all applicable taxes in the bid price. All products must be new, never previously used, and the current model and packaging. The state has the right to terminate the contract for various reasons, including misrepresentation, fraud, or breach of contract. Failure to deliver within the specified time or to provide services as specified will constitute a default. All contracts shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Louisiana. Bidders must comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations. Bidders must indicate which of the following applies to the signer of the bid: corporate officer, partnership member, representative authorized to submit the bid, or designated by the bidder as authorized to submit bids. Any public entity is authorized to reject a proposal or bid from a business in which any individual with an ownership interest of five percent or more has been convicted of a state felony or equivalent federal felony crime. The contractor agrees to adhere to the mandate dictated by the Copeland Anti-kickback Act, the Clean Air Act, the Energy Policy and Conservation Act, the Clean Water Act, the Anti-lobbying and Debarment Act, and the prohibition of discriminatory boycotts of Israel. The contractor shall comply with federal and state disabilities laws and regulations and the accessibility requirements of WCAG 2. 1 Level AA or the most current version. Any qualified individual with a disability who desires to attend the bid opening must notify the office in writing not later than 7 days prior to the bid opening date. The contractor agrees to defend any claim or action, indemnify, and hold harmless the state from claims for bodily injury, death, or property damages caused by the contractor's fault. All bid amounts shall be submitted in United States dollars. The bidder certifies that the price submitted was independently arrived at without collusion.
