Inspection personnel shall include a registered professional engineer or equivalent. Nondestructive testing personnel must have valid Level II certification. Rope access personnel require valid Level II training certifications. The contractor shall provide oversight and supervision of a registered professional engineer with a background and training in the design, inspection andor repair of chimneys and stacks, or a person who has acquired equivalent qualification through experience in all aspects of the inspection and reporting process.
