Farrier services for Seeley Ranger Districts livestock Farrier service for Seeley ranger districts livestock. Four scheduled services required to maintain livestock horses and mules. Estimated quantity is 13 livestock horses and mules. Additional quantities can be added via modification at the agreement of both parties for the same rate. Scheduled service the first week of May with three additional visits to remove horseshoes, trim feet, and reshoe animals at eight- week intervals. The final scheduled service shall occur in late October. Contractor must be able to pull shoes, clean, trim, and shoe stock using: no ropes, no stocks, no table shoeing, no sedatives. Shall furnish rim style horseshoes, shall furnish 5 city head nails. Government furnished USFS shoeing platform, USFS hitching rail, USFS personnel wrangler on location to catch and release stock.
