The Buffalo VAMC is seeking a brand-name or equal Steris to purchase replacement or additional sterile processing equipment. The vendor must meet the space and specifications of the Buffalo VAMC technical requirements. A walkthrough with VA facility and engineering must be done before approval. Training of SPS staff is mandatory. The vendor must provide complete technical information sheets and brochures describing features, specifications, and pictures of each piece of equipment, as well as instructions for use (IFU) for cleaning and maintaining the equipment. The vendor must meet all delivery schedules for equipment per construction install schedule. The vendor must certify that the device meets or exceeds AAMI standards (including ST79 and ST108), ISO ****, and VA SPS standards and design requirements. The vendor is solely responsible for delivering the equipment in good condition in one shipment. The vendor will provide the VA with all service publications used to inform or update SPS and Biomed personnel on reusable medical device issues (newsletters, alerts, recalls, procedure changes, or upgrades). All items must be delivered within 30 days of the award date.
