EPPC seeks Art Therapy - El Paso Psychiatric Center ( EPPC) seeks a therapist for Art Therapy.
Art Therapy Services Therapeutic group services: develop, facilitate, and document therapeutic art groups designed to address patient treatment goals. Adapt group activities to accommodate varying levels of cognitive, emotional, physical, and psychiatric functioning. Promote patient engagement, emotional regulation, stress reduction, self- expression, and recovery. Provide therapeutic activities that support social skills, communication, problem- solving, self- esteem, and coping skill development. Ensure all group activities are conducted in accordance with facility safety and security requirements. Group art therapy services: create weekly groups to t hospital needs and direction. Create weekly groups for art appreciation coverage whenever art therapist is out. Treatment team collaboration: collaborate with physicians, nursing sta, social workers, psychologists, rehabilitation sta, peer support personnel, and other treatment team members.
