Unless otherwise specified, all workmanship and materials must have at least one 1 year guaranty, in writing, from the date of delivery and/or acceptance of the project.
Every contract or order shall be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, taking into consideration the conformity with the specifications and the delivery and/or completion date.
Vendors must comply with all provisions in the technical specifications and Jefferson Parish instructions for bidders and general terms and conditions. Written evidence of the authority of the individual signing the bid must be submitted with the bid. For public works projects exceeding $5,****, a formal contract will be recorded, and for awards exceeding $25,****, both a performance and payment bond are required. For nonpublic works bids, a performance bond and a payment bond will be required.
Violation of the Louisiana code of governmental ethics may result in rescission of contract, permit or licenses, and the imposition of fines and/or penalties.
