The bid notice states that all proposals must indicate whether the vendor can achieve delivery by 24 June 2026. If this delivery is not practicable, vendors must propose an alternate delivery schedule. The delivery schedule is noted as NLT 24 June 2026.

Proposers must be a person, firm, or corporation that has in operation, or has the capability to have in operation, a manufacturing plant adequate to assure delivery of all equipment within the time specified, has adequate service personnel, has the necessary facilities and financial resources, and the procuring agency shall have the right to conduct a pre-award survey.

If the contractor fails to make delivery of the supplies or to satisfactorily perform the services within the time specified herein or any extension thereof, or fails to perform any other provisions of this contract, and does not cure such failure within a period of 10 days, the authority may, by written notice of default, terminate the whole or any part of this contract.

Attending the prebid conference is optional for this RFP submission, but respondents are highly encouraged to attend. The prebid conference meeting location is the RIPTA Comfort Station at 257 West Exchange Street, Providence, RI ****.

Samples are not mentioned as a requirement in this tender.

Appeals must be submitted in writing prior to the time and date set for the pre-proposal meeting. Protests concerning the solicitation must be submitted in writing five working days prior to proposal opening or closing date for receipt of proposals.
