Lot 1: Multi Shaft, Low Speed, High Torque Shredding System ( **** HP) The organization requires an industrial shredding system capable of securely and efficiently processing a wide range of sensitive and durable materials. The system must be a multi shaft, low speed, high torque shredder powered between 40 and 60 HP to ensure controlled shredding of both lightweight materials such as paper and plastics, as well as tougher items including uniforms, Kevlar, and limited metal objects. To support various destruction needs, the shredder must operate with interchangeable sizing screens to produce defined particle sizes and must also function effectively without screens for larger or more rigid materials. The design must allow safe manual hand feeding without conveyors, enabling flexible placement within existing facility constraints. The screen system must support efficient changeout within one hour by two personnel to minimize downtime transitioning from a defined particle size to shredding without a screen. Vendors must provide an installation quote as part of their proposal. Quotes should include any additional costs for delivery, setup, and on- site training. Vendors must include the following in their bid submission: Technical specifications for the proposed shredder System drawings, diagrams, or brochures ( if available) Electrical requirements List of compatible screen sizes with pricing Installation quote Warranty documentation Recommended maintenance schedule Costs of any applicable tariffs
