The 147th attack wing, Texas Air National Guard, intends to sole source the repair services for aircraft shelters damaged by a hurricane. The repairs are required to maintain the warranty of the shelters, which were purchased from Rubb Inc. The current assets were purchased from Rubb Inc. and must be repaired and maintained by the company to ensure the warranty for the shelters stays intact. Work by any other vendor would void any warranty for the shelters. Market research confirmed that only Rubb Inc. can repair the existing aircraft shelter system due to the proprietary nature of the equipment and technical information. There are no authorized resellers for Rubb Inc. No competition is possible.
