The dock manufacturer must have been in the full-time business of designing and manufacturing floating docks for at least three years prior to the date of this bid opening. The following proposed components, or closely similar types of components, shall have been in satisfactory service for three years prior to the date of this bid opening. The dock manufacturer shall have floating docks and components of similar design, to the system proposed on this project, in satisfactory field service for three years prior to the date of this bid opening under the following conditions: in wind, ice and water fluctuation conditions similar to those expected on this project.
