The county may investigate the contractor's ability to perform, requesting information on bonding, licensing, financial statements, past performance, and any lawsuits. he county may make such investigations as deemed necessary to determine the ability of the contractor to perform work

Penalties apply if a full-time technician position remains unfilled or uncovered after 14 days, requiring the contractor to reimburse the county for the actual cost plus 25% of the total cost associated with the position. he contractor will reimburse the actual costplus twentyfive percent 25 of the total cost associated with the position of a full time technician

Contacting county personnel other than the purchasing division regarding the RFP may be cause for disqualification. any contact with other county personnel or county contractors may be cause for disqualification.

The bid response deadline is June 29, 2026, prior to 2:00 PM MST. The scheduled time of completion for the project is 90 calendar days from the starting date specified in the notice to proceed.

City of Grand Junction payment terms shall be net 30 days. Prompt payment discount of percent of the net dollar will be offered to the owner if the invoice is paid within days after the receipt of the invoice.

The contractor warrants to the owner that all materials and equipment furnished under this contract will be new unless otherwise specified, and that all work will be of good quality, free from faults and defects and in conformance with the contract documents. A 30-year NDL warranty by the manufacturer is required for the roof system.

If the contractor does not achieve final completion by the required date, the contractor shall pay liquidated damages to the city for each day that final completion is late, in the daily amount of ****.
