This IFB is for professional maintenance services for the chemical threat response laboratory. The contract will cover complex instrumentation requiring 24/7 testing capability. Background checks are required for all personnel. Insurance requirements include Workers Compensation, Commercial General Liability, Commercial Automobile Liability, Professional Liability, and Umbrella Liability. Proposals are subject to the Texas Public Information Act.
Responses to this IFB must be received by 08/14/2026, 10:30 am Central Time.
Payment will be made in accordance with the Texas Prompt Payment Act. Invoices must include the contract or purchase order number and detail the work completed. The agency must acknowledge satisfactory performance before approving invoices for payment.
At the expiration of the service agreement, all parts and services will have a warranty for 30 days from the date of service. All OEM parts and services provided are free of defects in materials and workmanship.
The bidder shall have a minimum of five years of relevant experience. Personnel assigned to perform services must have at least two years of relevant experience and be at least 18 years of age. Bidders must provide at least three verifiable references.
Failure to comply with IFB requirements may result in disqualification. Noncompliance or failure to timely correct a deficiency may result in delayed or nonpayment. Noncompliance with intoxicant and illegal drug policy may result in contract termination.
