The Village of Cold Spring, New York is seeking proposals for the replacement of approximately 60 linear feet of chain link fence at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. The scope of work includes demolition of the existing fence, removal of brush and vegetation, installation of a new 72-inch high chain link fence with barbed wire, and restoration of the area. Bidders must have a minimum of five years of experience and five previous projects of similar size and scope, providing references. Proposals are due by June 15, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Contractors must be registered with the New York State Department of Labor. A one-year written warranty is required. Materials and installation must meet specified standards. The bid documents state that quotations and proposals must be received by the Village of Cold Spring no later than Monday, June 15, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
The awarded contractor shall provide a one (1) year, written warranty, signed and sealed by a New York State notary, guaranteeing against defective materials and workmanship.
The Village of Cold Spring reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in any bid, and to award the contract to other than the lowest bidder if deemed in the best interest of the village to do so.
Qualifications shall include a minimum of five (5) previous projects and a minimum of five (5) years of work similar in size and scope. References shall be provided for these projects with the location, date of work, project cost and a reference contact name and telephone number and attached to the proposal.
There may be deduced from the amount payable to the contractor by the owner under this contract a penalty of five (5. 00) dollars for each person for each calendar day during which such person was discriminated against or intimidated in violation of section 200e provided, that for a second or any subsequent violation of the provisions of said paragraph, his contract may be canceled or terminated by the owner and all monies due or to become due hereunder may be forfeited.
