In evaluating the bids, the division may consider such factors as alternates, bid price, experience and responsibility of the bidder and similar factors in determining which bid it deems to be in the best interest of the division for the project.
The bidder will be required to satisfy the division as to the bidders integrity, experience, equipment, personnel and financial ability to perform the work. Contractors shall be prequalified for minor grading on the Iowa Department of Transportation prequalified bidders list. Contractors are required to be registered with the Iowa division of labor.
Bidders may inspect the project site at their convenience.
