The grant award is based on reimbursable expenditures. Requests for reimbursement (RFR) are required monthly, and the award must be fully expended by June 30, 2027.

Eligible applicants are New Mexico school districts, local charters, state charters, and New Mexico regional education cooperatives (RECs). Tutors must have a bachelor's degree or be enrolled in a teacher preparation program, complete required training, and demonstrate ability to support diverse learners.

Failure to meet performance expectations, including student growth targets, attendance thresholds, or instructional dosage, may result in required corrective action plans, reduction in grant funding, or discontinuation of grant funding.

Applications that do not adhere to submission requirements, are late, or have serious deficiencies in any evaluation factor may be rejected.
