The entire work must be completed and ready for use no later than twenty-five (25) calendar days after the date the contractor receives the notice to proceed.
Requests for payment may be made no more frequently than monthly. Payment requests shall cover the value of labor and materials completed and in place. The 14-day period for payment is changed to 30 days. Invoices shall be submitted electronically in PDF format to ***@***. *. * and one copy to the COR.
The contractor shall guarantee the workmanship of the work executed for a minimum of one year from the date of formal acceptance. Manufacturer's warranty conditions shall apply for equipment and spare parts.
Award will be made to the lowest priced, acceptable, responsible quoter.
Offerors must be technically qualified and financially responsible, understand English and Italian, have an established business in Italy, provide proof of SAM registration, demonstrate prior construction experience with references, have necessary personnel and resources, possess all required licenses and permits, be able to obtain performance security, have no adverse criminal record, and no political or business affiliation contrary to US interests.
If the contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified, the contractor shall pay liquidated damages to the government in the amount of **** for each calendar day of delay.
A site visit and pre-quotation conference have been scheduled for June 09, 2026, at 09:30. Participants will meet at Rua Sacramento & Agrave; Lapa, No. 18 Lisboa. Prior notification is required for attendance, and no electronic devices will be permitted in the embassy compound.
After the pre-quotation conference, offerors may submit written questions until 10 days before the submission of offers cutoff date.
Failure to comply with requirements, such as providing required information for security checks, may be considered grounds for rejection and/or resubmittal. Engaging in forms of trafficking, procuring commercial sex acts, or using forced labor can lead to termination for default and debarment.
The anticipated range in price of this contract will be between €60,**** and €95,****.
