The project involves
repairing and replacing emergency and normal
lighting systems in building 299 at the Rock Island Arsenal. The scope includes design and construction services, with specific requirements for design deliverables (calculations, specifications, drawings), construction deliverables (shop drawings, schedule, testing, as-built drawings, manuals), and special services (work hours, holidays, minimizing tenant disruption, accurate site measurements). Security requirements include training, access, and security clearances. Environmental requirements include compliance with various regulations, including waste disposal, hazardous materials, and noise. Additional documents (plans, specifications, preliminary submittal register) are attached. The base bid completion date is 730 calendar days after contract award. The contractor must commence work within 30 calendar days of receiving the notice to proceed. The contractor is required to submit a DD Form ****, and meet with government representatives prior to demolition or construction to receive training and sample documents. A draft version of the form shall be prepared and maintained by the contractor throughout construction and shall be made available to the government upon request. repair, relocation, and demolition information. The final version shall then be submitted to the government as a part of the final submittal package.
