North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) is offering $1,000,000 in funding for airport infrastructure improvements to support Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and eVTOL aircraft readiness. The maximum award per applicant is $200,000. Projects must focus on the purchase and installation of electric charging infrastructure. Applications are due August 7, 2026. Funding is competitive and administered as a cost reimbursement program. Applicants must be public-use airports within the 12-county NCTCOG region and demonstrate consistency with airport master plans. A risk assessment and SAM registration are required.

Airports will be evaluated based on consistency with AAM within airport plans, understanding of AAM technologies, potential to attract operators/investment, and strength of partnerships/timeline. Eligible applicants must be public-use airports within the 12-county NCTCOG region, sponsored by a public partner agency if an airport operator, demonstrate consistency with airport master plans, and commit to regional coordination and performance reporting.
