Vmware Government Bids & RFPs

Proposals must be received by Friday, June 19, 2026, at 12:00 p. m. PST.

Consultant shall submit monthly invoices for work completed. City shall pay approved charges within 30 days of receiving the invoice.

Proposals will be evaluated based on demonstrated understanding of requirements, cost competitiveness, experience, technical qualifications, ability to deliver a secure solution, and strength of managed support services.

Proposals must include company qualifications, experience implementing hyperconverged infrastructure or VMware cluster deployments, and experience working with municipal/public sector clients.

An optional pre-proposal meeting will be conducted via Zoom on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 1:30 p. m. PST.

Post-conference inquiries must be submitted no later than June 4, 2026, 4:30 p. m. PST.

Late proposals will not be accepted. Failure to provide and maintain required insurance shall be grounds for termination.

All bids must be received no later than: June 3, 2026 @12:00 PM noon. Late submissions will not be considered.

Bidders must be qualified vendors. Bidders must include: Vendor company information and contact details.

The sealed quotes are due by June 9, 2026, by 2:00 PM EST.

The university's preferred payment method is with a university credit card (pcard). The university will not accept convenience fees or increased pricing due to pcard payment.

The bid notice states that a 5-year hardware warranty with 4-hour onsite support is included.

Proposals will be evaluated based on weighted criteria including hardware compatibility (20%), vendor support (20%), scalability (10%), and price (TCO - Total Cost of Ownership) (50%). The supplier selected for the award will be chosen on the basis of an assessment of the greatest benefit to OU, not necessarily on the basis of lowest price.

All proposed hardware must be factory-certified as VSAN ESA ReadyNodes and appear on the VMware Compatibility Guide (VCG) for VCF 9. Vendors are required to provide detailed CPU and VSAN raw storage configurations and demonstrate compliance with VMware core-based licensing policies.

Services not conforming to specifications may not be accepted at the firm's expense. Services not provided in accordance with the scope of services may result in the firm being found in default. In the event of default, all procurement costs may be charged against the firm.

Failure to submit information in accordance with the RFQ requirements and procedures may be cause for disqualification. Firms may be excluded from further consideration for failure to fully comply with the specifications of this RFQ.
