Bids must be submitted by Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 11:00 a. m. bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope and delivered to the office of the school business administratorboard secretary of south orangemaplewood board of education on or before the date andtime indicated below.

Failure to comply with instructions or submit required forms may result in bid rejection. Liquidated damages may be assessed for failure to complete the project within the specified time frame. failure to comply with instructions to bidders and to complete and submit all required forms may be causefor the rejection of the bid.

Challenges to bid specifications must be filed in writing with the School Business Administrator no less than three days prior to the opening of bids. any prospective bidder who wishes to challenge a bid specification shall file such challenges in writing withthe school business administrator no less than three 3 days prior to the opening of bids.

Bids may be rejected for nonresponsiveness due to failure to comply with instructions, complete required forms, or properly label the bid envelope. Bidders on the state debarment list will not be contracted with. failure to comply with instructions to bidders and to complete and submit all required forms may be causefor the rejection of the bid.

Bids must be received by the purchasing agency on the solicitation due date no later than the solicitation due time as set forth in the solicitation. The solicitation due date is **** and the solicitation due time is 9:00 am.

Sealed bids must be received in the business office by the purchasing agent prior to the bid opening date and time of Friday, June 5, 2026, at 9:00 a. m. All bids received after the time stated in the notice to bidders may not be considered and will be returned unopened to the bidder.

The bidder shall guarantee the work to be free from defects of any nature for a period of one year from and after the final acceptance and payment for the work. The bidder shall maintain said work and shall make all needed repairs and/or replacement during this one year period.

Awards will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The board of education reserves the right to award this bid on either an item basis or an entire bid or by grouping one or more of various items.

The GC service contractor must show evidence of holding a current master license, at least five years of GC service experience, and have been in the GC business for at least three years prior to submitting the bid proposal. A 24-hour phone number answered by competent personnel is also required.

In the event of cancellation for nonperformance, the vendor shall be liable for all additional costs incurred by the district and any penalties imposed by the terms of these bid specifications. The district shall have the right to cancel this contract at any time during its term for failure on the part of the vendor to meet the requirements of bid specifications.

When requested, samples must be furnished within five working days of the request at no cost to the EICSd. If not destroyed in examination, they will be returned to the bidder on request at the vendor’s expense.

Failure to complete, sign, and attach the noncollusion statement may disqualify the bid. Failure to complete, sign and attach this certification may disqualify the bid.
