Sealed proposals are requested for non-slip floor coating application services for a 13,500 sq ft concrete garage floor. The project involves preparing and coating the floor with an industrial-grade non-slip system. Proposals are due by July 29, 2026, 5:00 PM MST. A pre-proposal conference will be held on July 6, 2026. Questions must be emailed by July 10, 2026. The contract performance period is 60 days from the notice to proceed. Award will be based on best value, with price being the most important factor (45%), followed by project approach and scope (30%), and experience/qualifications/management (25%).

Payment will be made based on actual quantities measured and accepted, in accordance with the fixed unit prices proposed. The total obligation of the city shall not exceed the contract amount.
The contractor shall provide a two-year guarantee on all work performed under this contract after the job has been completed and accepted.
The award will be made to the offeror that demonstrates the best value to the city, considering price (45%), project approach and scope (30%), and experience, qualifications, and management area (25%).
Offerors must complete Exhibit 1, Qualifications Documents, which includes a qualification statement, and demonstrate their ability to perform the work, including relevant experience and financial stability.
If the contractor fails to perform defective work again or take necessary action to ensure future performance conforms to contract requirements, the city may perform the services and charge the contractor, or terminate the contract for breach.
A pre-proposal conference will be held at the City of Colorado Springs City Transit Administration Building, **** Transit Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80903. This meeting is not mandatory, but all offerors are encouraged to attend.
