The Alaska Energy Authority (AEA) is seeking an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for a contractor to perform electrical emergency repairs in rural power plants throughout Alaska. Proposals must be submitted electronically or hand-delivered by August 5, 2025, at 2:00 PM prevailing time to the Alaska Energy Authority, Selwin Ray, at 813 W. Northern Lights Blvd. , Anchorage, AK 99503. The contract will be awarded to multiple contractors. The contractor must have experience in this type of work in rural Alaska for the previous 5 years. A 24-hour phone line is required. The estimated amount of the proposed contract is between $100,000 and $1,000,000. Additional documents, such as a preaudit statement (DOTPF form ****), are required for contracts exceeding $250,000. Offerors must register with the authority to be placed on the planholders list and receive subsequent addenda. Failure to register may adversely affect the proposal. The evaluation process involves a committee evaluating proposals based on criteria in Part C. Price is not an evaluation criterion for services that must be performed only by licensed architects, engineers, or land surveyors in Alaska, unless the services are repetitive and defined by measurable standards. An audit of the selected offeror's cost accounting systems may be required.
