The Glynn County Board of Education is seeking proposals for a full-service snack vending program for teacher lounges and employee breakrooms. The agreement term is from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2029. Proposals are due by 11:00 a. m. on April 15, 2026. All questions must be submitted in writing via email by March 31, 2026, with responses posted by noon on April 1, 2026. Vendors are responsible for all equipment, maintenance, repairs, and insurance. A minimum of 51% of snacks must be healthy options. Vendors are encouraged to visit facilities to prepare their proposals. Award will be made to the most responsive and advantageous proposal.

The bid notice states that commission payments are calculated on sales for the month just preceding and must be accompanied by a sales report, by facility, including copies of delivery tickets signed by site managers. Commission payments and sales reports are to be sent to the applicable site and a copy of the sales report is to be emailed to the procurement officer.
The bid notice states that Award shall be made to the most responsive proposer whose proposal is determined to be the most advantageous to the gcboe and best serve all facilities.
The bid notice requires three contactable references of similar vending service, preferably for other public school systems, completed in the last 3 years.
The bid notice mentions that for violation of the provision regarding communication with staff, he gcboe shall reserve the right to reject the proposal of the offending proposer. It also states that collusive bidding is a violation of state and federal law and can result in fines, prison sentences, and civil damage awards.
Prospective proposers are encouraged to become as thoroughly familiar with the sites as may be practical, including visits to facilities to better prepare the proposal documents. Advance arrangements for such visits must be made with each site manager.
