The City of Tybee Island, Georgia, is seeking proposals for curbside collection of residential and commercial waste, and yard waste. Proposals are due August 26, 2025, at 2:00 PM local time. A mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held on August 12, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the Public Safety Building, Council Chambers. The contract will be for 24 months, with automatic renewal for three 3-year extensions, unless the city gives 90 days' notice of non-renewal. The contract may be terminated if the contractor's service is deemed unsatisfactory after a 30-day opportunity to cure. The tender is for janitorial services at the D. C. Booth Historic National Fish Hatchery for one year, from September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026. Cleaning will occur daily during the tourist season (May 1st to August 31st) for public restrooms and the booth house shop restroom, and weekly for the hatchery office/admin building. The contractor will be responsible for cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, supplying disinfectants, wipes, and other cleaning items, while the hatchery will provide bathroom supplies (soap, trash bags, feminine hygiene products, and toilet paper). The contractor must identify and report any non-functional toilets to hatchery staff. The cleaning must occur during normal duty hours (Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Mountain Time). The contractor must provide contact information in case of emergencies.
