The tender requires the upgrade of
industrial controls for blast and paint process
control cabinets at the Marine Depot Maintenance Command (MDMC) production plant. Vendors must provide all labor, tools, materials, programming, equipment, safety measures, supervision, and associated services. The work will be done to the maximum extent over weekends, federal holidays, or dates agreed upon by the customer. Vendors are responsible for due diligence, verifying measurements and power availability prior to ordering materials. The customer will provide basic building layouts, site visits, and other information as necessary. The work must be completed within 140 calendar days after the award date, including a 14-day period for checking the background of vendor personnel. All work must be accomplished between the hours of 7:30 a. m. and 5:00 p. m. , Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays, unless otherwise specified. Vendors must adhere to current installation security policies and contact the visitor
control center for security policies and access to the base. The government will not provide any equipment, fuel, personnel, utilities, or facilities to the vendor. Vendors must clean up work sites daily and properly dispose of debris. All salvable materials and equipment not indicated for reuse will remain the government's property. Recyclable materials will be recycled in accordance with MCO **** to performing hot work, a written permit must be requested from the fire division. Vendors must provide at least two 10-pound rated extinguishers for normal hot work. A designated fire watch is mandatory for any hot work done at this activity. Vendors must familiarize their personnel with the location of the nearest fire alarm boxes and the emergency fire phone number.
