The Galena Park Independent School District (GPISD) is soliciting proposals for perimeter security fencing and gates. The submission deadline is December 3, 2025, at 2:00 PM CT. Manual submissions must be delivered to the purchasing department in a sealed envelope. All communication should go through the purchasing department. The initial contract term is one year, with the possibility of four additional one-year extensions. Proposers must submit required documents and forms. To qualify for evaluation, a proposal must have been submitted on time and must materially satisfy all mandatory requirements identified in this document. If vendor is unable to provide the goods or services at the prices quoted in vendors proposal or if vendor fails to fulfill or abide by the terms and conditions of the agreement, gpisd may take the following actions, in gpisds sole discretion, and vendor agrees to comply with gpisds actions: insist that vendor honor the quoted prices specified in vendors proposal have vendor pay the difference between vendors price and the price of the next acceptable proposal as determined by gpisd have vendor pay the difference between vendors price and the actual purchase price of the good or service on the open market andor recommend to gpisds board of trustees that vendor no longer be given the opportunity to submit a proposal to gpisd andor that this agreement be terminated.
