While total costs will be considered in the award of this rfp, it is not the only factor to be considered. The city intends to award a contract to the offerors whose proposal it deems to be in the best interests of the taxpayers. The city's evaluation process will be structured to secure highly skilled, diligent, responsive and experienced offerors who will be effective in providing the highest quality of services that the city requires.

Each offeror is responsible for carefully examining all rfp documents and thoroughly familiarizing themselves with each of the citys requirements prior to their submission of a proposal to ensure that their responses are in compliance with the rfp.

Questions regarding the rfpshall be directed to the citys designee only. Any impermissible contact with any other city officer or employee regarding the rfp during the procurement period shall result in the rejection of anysuch offerors proposal. offerors shall communicate in writing only. no other communications with the citys designee regarding the rfp are permitted during the procurement period. all questions, requests for clarification or additional information must be sent by email to nicole drye at ***@***. *. * and must be received no later than 4: 00 pm on january 30, 2026.

The total project cost to the city should not exceed seventy thousand dollars 70, 000, this includes both billable hours and other expenses.

The bid notice states that the audit firm must be independent and properly licensed, have staff with he required continuing professional education within the preceding 2 years, and have a record of quality audit work.
