The State of New Jersey is seeking data entry and verification services for digitally imaged and paper documents. Services include keying from image, OCR, ICR, and traditional data entry. Non-peak periods: 1 business day for imaged checks/vouchers, 3 business days for imaged returns/documents, 7 business days for paper returns/documents. Peak periods: 2 business days for imaged checks/vouchers, 5 business days for imaged returns/documents, 10 business days for paper returns/documents.
Payment will be made electronically via direct deposit. The contractor will be compensated based on keystroke rate or active work time rate, as determined by the state. A 1% procurement efficiency program fee will be remitted quarterly.
Contractor must demonstrate the ability to scale operations up and down, maintain minimum technical infrastructures, employ a trained workforce, and provide a trained information systems representative. All personnel require criminal history record background checks, including fingerprint, credit, and tax filing checks.
Liquidated damages will be assessed for late delivery, failure to perform, staffing inadequacies, and failure to meet specific turnaround times for different document types and periods. Penalties can range from **** to $6,**** per business day.
Failure to comply with data security requirements, including background checks and data handling, could lead to disqualification. Failure to remit procurement efficiency program fees timely may result in contract termination.
