The City of Berkeley is seeking proposals for a comprehensive rental information and housing services management system. Proposals must be submitted by February 18, 2026, via email. Questions are due by February 2, 2026. The contract term will be five years, with the possibility of two one-year extensions. The city may terminate the contract for convenience or default. The proposal is limited to 70 pages, excluding certain documents. The selected vendor will be responsible for the full lifecycle delivery of a modern, modular, and scalable data system. The initial term of the contracts will be five 5 years and begin on or about june 18, 2026, and end on june 30, 2031.
The bid notice states Proposals must be received no later than 2: 00 pm, on wednesday, february 18, 2026.
The rent board will make payment to the vendor within 30 days of receipt of a correct, approved and complete invoice.
The rent board will convene a selection panel consisting of city staff and subjectmatter experts to evaluate and score all submittals.
The proposer must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in development, deployment, operations, and maintenance of rent tracking systems or systems similar in nature with comparable functions.
