Sealed bids are due June 22, 2026, at 2:00 PM for the **** biennial water treatment plant residual removal contract. The scope of work includes loading, transportation, and disposal of residual solids from the City of Fernley Water Treatment Plant. Bidders must be licensed for this type of work in Nevada. A statement of qualifications is required with the bid package. Site visits can be arranged by contacting the City of Fernley Utilities Department. Pricing must be on a per-gallon basis and include all costs.
Sealed bids are due by 2:00 PM on June 22, 2026.
Invoices issued as a result of this bid shall be processed for payment as each service and/or material is supplied to the City of Fernley.
Contractor warrants that all services, deliverables, and/or work product under this contract shall be completed in a workmanlike manner consistent with standards in the trade, profession, or industry and shall conform to or exceed the specifications set forth in the incorporated attachments.
The contract shall be awarded to that responsible bidder whose bid conforms to the invitation and whose bid is most advantageous to the city, price and other factors considered.
A statement of qualifications shall be included with the bid packages.
In case of default of the contractor, the city may procure the articles or service from other sources and hold the contractor responsible for any excess cost occasioned thereby.
Water treatment plant site visits to inspect connection requirements and review available data on current residual solids may be arranged during the bid period by contacting the City of Fernley Utilities Department.
Contractors shall coordinate with the City of Fernley Utilities Department to access the site for the purpose of collecting samples prior to proposal submittal. Bidders shall be responsible for all sampling, testing, and analysis necessary to prepare their bid.
Any unsuccessful bidder may file a notice of appeal within 10 days of award as entered on the bid record.
Failure to submit required documents may result in the bid being deemed nonresponsive and rejected by the city.
