Sealed bids for aluminum sulfate will be received until July 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Bids will be opened publicly via videoconferencing. The contract period is one year from the date of award. Bidders must comply with all bid document requirements, including the bidder's qualifications statement. Deliveries are to be made as needed to the Park Place Water Treatment Plant. The city reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
Bids must be received by the Purchasing Department prior to the time of public opening on July 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
Prompt payment discounts will not be considered in determining the low bid, but may be considered in resolving tied bids. No interest or other charges are permitted.
Vendor shall unequivocally guarantee against defects of any kind or nature, in addition to the warranty presently used in the trade.
The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
The city will not accept bids from anyone who cannot prove sufficient experience and financial ability to comply with requirements. A bidder's qualifications statement is required.
Failure to meet delivery time schedules may be grounds for cancellation of the order or contract. The contractor shall reimburse the city for any excess costs incurred in replacing products due to delays.
The city reserves the right to request representative samples at any time prior to or after award. Samples must be submitted free of charge and comply with specifications.
Failure to comply with bid document requirements, including the bidder's qualifications statement, may result in rejection of the bid. Bids not in full compliance with city code will be denied.
