Sealed bids are due by 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 20, 2026, for the reconstruction of Bayer Road in Chambers County, Texas. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope and include a notarized noncollusion affidavit. The county reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The project will be constructed and inspected according to the **** Texas Department of Transportation standard specifications. The working days for this project will be 45. Award will be based on demonstrated capabilities, relevant work, references, and pricing. A performance bond of 100% of the contract price will be required. Damages of $500 per day will be assessed for exceeding the working days.

No contractor, companycorporate principle or officer, licensed professional, or corporation involved in the provision of any chambers county project, current or future, arising from this bid can be listed on any current state or federal debarred contractors list.
