The City of Long Beach is seeking proposals for Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering services to support its Capital Improvement Program. Services will include design, analysis, feasibility studies, and inspection for waterfront assets like the Queen Mary and Scorpion submarine. Proposals are due September 1, 2026. The contract will be for two years with options to renew for three additional one-year periods. Minimum qualifications include the ability to conduct business in the City, not having been debarred, and relevant experience in naval architecture and marine engineering projects. Licensed Professional Engineers familiar with vessel design principles and governing standards and regulations are required.
