This is a request for repair of radar equipment. The contract will be firm fixed price, not to exceed a certain price. The repair turnaround time is 142 days after receipt of the asset. There is an option for increased quantity up to 100 units for a period of 365 days from the contract award date. The government reserves the right to perform inspections to ensure the supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. The contractor is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements. The contractor must provide a throughput constraint for each item. Any asset received after the induction expiration date (365 days after contract award date) is not authorized for repair without bilateral agreement. A price reduction will be applied for any delay in meeting the required RTAT. The quote must include repair unit price, total price, repair turnaround time, and capacity constraints. The quote expiration date must be a minimum of 90 days. The government intends to add an option quantity to the resultant contract. The option grants the government the unilateral authority to increase this order up to the above quantity within 365 days of the contract award date. The government may increase the quantity of supplies called for in the schedule at the unit price specified. Offerors consideration for award of contract shall be given only to authorized distributors of the original manufacturers item represented in this solicitation. If you desire to be considered as a potential source for award of this contract, proof of being an authorized distributor shall be provided on company letterhead signed by a responsible company official and sent with your offer to the procurement contracting officer.
