The City of Charleston is seeking qualifications for materials testing and special inspections for the Johns Island Recreation Center project. The selected consultant will be responsible for reviewing documents, conducting field investigations, performing on-site materials sampling, and laboratory analysis. Proposals are due by June 22, 2026. Questions must be submitted in writing by June 16, 2026. The selection will be based on best value. The City reserves the right to reject any or all qualifications.

Offerors may be disqualified for reasons such as collusion, involvement in litigation against the city, arrears on existing contracts, or failure to perform under previous contracts.
